Our Head office in Brisbane is now recruiting for the position of a Planner / Scheduler.
- Permanent role with Tier 1 International Gold Mine

**The Role**:
The role of Planner/Schedule is responsible for creating and managing project plans in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. They will ensure that progress is accurately tracked and recorded against baseline schedules. They will also provide regular updates to Project Managers allowing them to address any deviations from the plan proactively.

Essential criteria
- Required years of similar experience: 6 to 10
- Broad mining relevant work experience essential and across all the mining lifecycle
- Proven track record for the delivery of project objectives and established targets is essential
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal, written communication, and public speaking skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Sound planning, analytical, and problem-solving
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training.
- Scheduling softwares Primavera P6 version 7,
- Microsoft Project (advanced),
- Capacity to learn new software (general).

Desirable criteria
- Prior experience working in a diverse cultural environment in a mining context is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a remote location in a developing country is desirable.

The Requirements
- Must be open to travel to PNG (Lihir) a few times a year
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
- Must be able to complete a National Police Check.
