About The Role
As a Guidance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the personal, emotional, and academic development of students. You will collaborate closely with school staff, families, and external agencies to provide a proactive, student-centered approach to wellbeing. Your work will focus on identifying individual needs, implementing effective interventions, and fostering a safe and supportive school environment where all students can thrive.
Your Responsibilities
Providing counselling, assessment, case management, and referral services to support students' educational and emotional needs
Implementing proactive wellbeing initiatives and early intervention programs
Supporting career development and SET planning
Collaborating within a multidisciplinary support team to develop individualised student support plans
Supporting school-wide initiatives in behaviour management, mental health, and student protection
