Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

**VCAT**

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.

**About the Role**

The Tribunal Services Officer is an exciting role offering you the ability to provide support and assistance to VCAT users. In this frontline customer service role, you'll play a key part in helping the community by responding to a variety of queries over multiple channels, including phone, digital and in person.

You'll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, often in sensitive or complex situations. If you're someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and making a real difference through exceptional customer service, this role is for you.

This position gives you the chance to demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and resilience while working within a collaborative team.

The Tribunal Services Officer position involves a combination of remote work and onsite duties, with some functions requiring physical presence at VCAT's CBD location.

**About You**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with users, colleagues, and a wide range of stakeholders.
- A strong customer service focus, including the ability to quickly identify user needs, respond to enquiries accurately and promptly, and ensure a positive user experience.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities, with confidence in managing routine matters independently and referring or escalating complex enquiries as required, including to external agencies.
- Effective organisational and administrative capabilities, enabling you to complete tasks efficiently while managing competing priorities and contributing to smooth daily operations.
- A commitment to continuous learning and service improvement, actively engaging in development opportunities and supporting the implementation of initiatives that enhance service delivery.
- Collaborative and respectful stakeholder engagement skills, allowing you to maintain productive relationships with users, team members, VCAT Members, and other stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience within a court or tribunal environment will be highly considered.**
