**Ways of working**

This role is based at our Sunshine Coast headquarters with a hybrid work model that includes in-office presence from Tuesday to Thursday.

**Key priorities**
- Help prepare high-quality planning, fieldwork, and reporting materials in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with the Audit Manager and team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Support the documentation and analysis of key processes to identify critical controls.
- Assist in assessing risks and controls to identify weaknesses and recommending improvements.
- Assist in communicating audit results to department managers and ensure understanding of audit recommendations.
- Support the evaluation and monitoring of corrective actions taken to address identified control weaknesses.
- Participate in internal departmental tasks and key standing activities, such as Board and Audit Committee reporting, as needed.

**About you**
- Holds or are in the process of completing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Considering a relevant postgraduate qualification, such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Commitment to developing and maintaining necessary knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and adaptable, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective planning, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting transactions.
- Commercially minded with a focus on building strong relationships.
- High integrity, professional accountability, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
