And you could be next to join our exceptional team as our Next Multi Site Venue Manager overseeing the following locations;Hellenic MuseumWhitten OvalAs a group we are responsible for exclusive catering in some of Melbourne's most prestigious venues, such as;Melbourne Town HallShowtime Events CentreAerialPolly woodsideThe RoleThis role will be both challenging and rewarding, and will provide a great opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and skills.
You will be strong leader with strong interpersonal skills.Manage labour, beverage and consumables costsOversee a passionate team of Operations Manager, Supervisors and Team leaders across multiple venues/spaces.Stock control, ordering and rostering responsibilitiesTrain and develop your operations teamP&L accountabilityHands on leadership including running events for Showtime Event GroupVenue Partner and stake holder managementEnsure that all regulations and procedures are adhered to at all timesThis role reports into the General Manager of Operations to help execute key KPI's for their HUB and support in executing the overall business strategy.What it takes to succeedExperience working in large scale function and events operations.A strong focus on executing prestige events with skill in precision.A passion for food, service and spectacular eventsAbility to get your hands dirty to inspire and support the team.Immaculate personal presentation and hygieneStrong Commercial acumenSolutions focused mindsetCurrent RSA certification requiredFood Safety Supervisor certification preferredMust have permanent right to work in AustraliaValid Victorian Working with Children Check required or willing to obtain onePrevious experience as a Area Manager, Operations Manager in a large group within a high-end boutique catering, restaurant group and events company or venue will be considered a distinct advantage.What's on offer
