Job Skill Set Requirements
Ability to follow directions well
Ability to work independently
Upbeat and motivating attitude
Punctuality and organization
Remit
Design personalized exercise programs based on members' experience, medical background, and goals
Submit workout logs and programs to GM for review
Assist at the front desk during non-training hours with memberships, cancellations, club tours, inquiries, cleaning, and restocking
Inspect equipment for malfunctions or damage and report issues
Inspect AED equipment
Lubricate equipment weekly
Monitor the "30 min Express" area for appropriate use
Experience/Qualifications
Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness; proof required or working toward certification
Must be certified within two months of hire if not already certified
Prior supervisory experience or 3-5 years in a similar role preferred
Fitness background and gym experience preferred
Certifications from an approved Australian Fitness Provider; proof required
First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 3 weeks
WWC (Working With Children) certificate/number for NSW & VIC, Blue Card for QLD from start date
National Police Check within the last 12 months
