We are focused on using the most up-to-date scientifically backed training methods and values while focusing on the canine's behavioural triad of emotional, cognitive and behaviour. FPTA is a unique and supportive environment where we thrive on education by helping staff, clients and their dogs learn and grow to the best they can be. One goal is to set our Staff, Clients and our fur clients up for success. We pride ourselves on helping dogs learn social cues and appropriate social behaviours. We reinforce calm/relaxation behaviours by building habits with the use of positive reinforcement and negative punishment to achieve results that future-proof clients' dogs. We aim to create calm, confident and socially fulfilled dogs in our daycare as well as in society.

**What we are looking for**:

- Passionate about dogs, and have extensive experience working with dogs within a daycare or shelter environment.
- Values our philosophy and systematic approach to the way we run our dog daycare and behavioural consulting.
- Committed to working as part of an amazing team and growing with us and the business.
- Will bring ideas to the table and isn't afraid to ask questions and learn new skills.
- Experience in daycare and leadership

**Salary**: $20.33 - $30.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wangara, WA 6065: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- working with dogs (daycare, boarding, shelter): 2 years (required)
