We are looking for a **Chapter Lead - Test Engineering** to join our Mortgage Technology team at ING. Reporting to the IT Area Lead, you'll play a key role in the continuous improvement of our quality assurance practices as part of Agile and DevOps. You'll lead by example and coach others to develop and automate the testing of robust, adaptable code that is always production-ready.

**What are you going to do? You will**
- Work along the full lifecycle of software engineering from idea to working production.
- Build robust, reusable and performant full stack testing and test automation solutions.
- Design reusable tests following Service Oriented Design principles.
- Implement and drive quality assurance metrics.
- Leverage the best in TDD / BDD practices to accelerate the delivery of working software.
- Create a culture in which employees take responsibility, help each other to be successful and remain a step ahead.
- Regularly coach and mentor chapter members to increase their capability.
- Drive the agile and devops maturity of our squads and organisation.

**What are we looking for?** **Someone who has...**
- Experience leading a test practice in a large organisation delivering complex software.
- Experience developing and implementing the full cycle of agile testing methodologies in Devops / CICD environments.
- Experience implementing test automation across software technologies, as well as driving its adoption and continuous coverage improvement.
- Proficient understanding of SDLC tools e.g. IDEs, source control, CI, test, mocking, work tracking, defect management.
- Expertise across technologies such as databases, APIs and user interfaces.
- Proficient with software design concepts such as reliability, resiliency, scalability and fault tolerance / recovery.
- 10+ years of experience working in a testing capacity with an organisation on large scale programs with exposure to cloud technologies
- Core: Java EE,.NET, Azure, Testing tools (Selenium, Perfecto, Applitools)
