If you're the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have several opportunities for **Airport Ground Handlers** to join our Operations team, working on a 2:2 (two weeks on, two weeks off) Fly-In-Fly-Out oster from Adelaide
When working at the aerodrome your role as an **Airport Ground Handler** may include the following duties;
- Check in and boarding duties using multiple systems
- Ramp handling duties; positioning aircraft stairs, loading and unloading baggage, marshalling, receipt and dispatch procedures
- Operating ground service equipment such as baggage tugs and belt loaders
- Communicating via radio including monitoring and answering CTAF
- Preparing all relevant flight documents; manifests and load instruction reports
In the downtime of Airport Operations, you may assist as a **Service Attendant**with the following tasks;
- Unpacking boxes from the food delivery truck
- Cleaning tasks around the airport and village
- Helping where needed for departments across the village
**Who are we looking for?**
We'd love to hear from you if you've had previous experience working in an airport environment (check in, baggage handling or other airport duties). Safety is at the forefront of our operations so you must share our passion for working to high safety standards. Our **Airport Ground Handlers** are team players, have a can-do attitude, are flexible and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. To be successful, you'll need:
- Baggage Handling/Airport Experience
- Aircraft Refueling Experience (highly desirable)
- Current HR drivers licence (highly desirable)
- Dangerous good by road certificate (highly desirable)
- Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
This is a great role for someone who likes varied duties, is flexible and able to multi-task. It is essential to understand you have to be adaptable in this role to work in the aerodrome and our service attendant departments as needed.
Working on-site with our teams means you'll be working 11 hours per day on a 2:2 (two weeks on, two weeks off) roster often in extreme environments. So having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day
