The heart of the role
As our Quality Education Manager, you will lead the home in delivering quality care and services, ensuring governance, compliance, and team competency meet the Aged Care Quality Standards.
You will identify improvement opportunities, support remediation efforts, and coach the leadership team for sustainability.
In this role, you will:
Provide quality-focused leadership and coaching.
Guide documentation and recording to meet expected outcomes.
Develop team members' knowledge of practice expectations within the Aged Care Quality Standards and their scope.
Identify skills or knowledge gaps and create development plans.
Ensure team and care home readiness, maintaining currency of the Commission Entry Questions.
Maintain the Care Home's Continuous Improvement Plan (PCI) and track progress with leadership.
Complete monthly Quality Indicator Reports, analyze data, and implement improvements.
Ensure timely submission and analysis of Government NQIP data, with documented improvements.
Coordinate monthly Care Home Audits within the operational audit program.
Manage and deliver high-quality, person-centered clinical care for residents, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with policies, legislation, and privacy standards.

What will you bring?
Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration.
Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) are desirable.
Proven experience in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, and training.
Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationships.
Effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
