**Perigon Group is excited to partner with a reputable Financial Services Group, an employer of choice in the Sydney Market. They are seeking a Manager of Market Risk & Quantitative Analytics to join their team.**
- Responsibilities will include:
- Work with key stakeholders to embed, monitor, and review risk and compliance management practices to monitor risk exposures against approved policy limit frameworks and delegations
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated model monitoring tools to enable oversight of model risks
- Review and oversee market risks to ensure they are appropriately identified, measured, analysed, monitored, and controlled
- Accountable for development and continuous improvement in reporting provided to the Senior Management and Board
- Independently validate Treasury, Traded/Non-Traded Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, and Liquidity Risk Models in accordance with the Bank's model governance standards
- Contribute to a consistent approach in the identification, assessment, and management of risks by preparing, maintaining, and reviewing frameworks and policies

About You:
- Extensive experience in market risk oversight and model development and/or validation, coupled with the development of quantitative algorithms is required.
- You will have experience coding in R, Python, SQL, or similar and detailed knowledge of risk management theory and the interaction of risk with banking principles. Additionally, you will have sound knowledge, interpretation, and implementation of APRA or Basel equivalents of market risk (APS116 and 117), counterparty credit risk (APS180 and CPS226), and Liquidity Risk (APS210) standards.
