Personal Care Attendant

$25 to $63 per hour Permanent rate + $6,000 car allowance
- Work 1:1 with clients in Melbourne's Bayside, inner south suburbs

**About the role**:
Outstanding opportunity to become a
**permanent/ Part-Time/ Casual care worker** providing quality care services to clients needing support in their own homes in
**Melbourne's inner south including suburbs like Elwood, Brighton, Malvern, Aspendale.**

**Tasks include**:

- Personal care and general household duties to ensure the client receives the most extraordinary care
- Observe client's wellbeing and make recommendations about care enhancements.
- Be proactive with our clients' needs
- Maintaining records and continuous communicating with our excellent client services staff
- Participate in client reviews and work with the client's family to honour client requests

**ABOUT YOU**

You have a real passion for helping people and this shows through your exceptional customer service skills and the way you respectfully treat others. You are made for the industry because you are compassionate, empathetic, and professional in all that you do. You want to make a difference with your warm and caring outlook. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

In addition, you will have:

- A current driver's licence and a reliable roadworthy vehicle is essential.
- Experience with high care clients and dementia is essential.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / HACC / Disability / Individual Support.
- Previous work experience in Aged Care, Disability, Home & Community Care, Nursing OR lived experience caring for a friend or loved one.
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain
- Applicants with multilingual proficiency encouraged to apply.

**All permanent Prestige Personal Care Attendants will receive the following benefits**:

- $6,000 yearly car allowance (full-time equivalent)
- Plus leading industry and above award rates - $973.00 per week gross for 37.5 hours per week, plus weekend/public holiday loading
