In simple terms, we help our clients make their finance functions more efficient and effective.Join our fast-paced and growing team to work with like-minded individuals who are passionate about Deloitte's latest thinking on the future of finance, especially regarding key accounting, reporting, and finance matters in the Corporate and Public Sector.About youWe're looking for someone with:Qualifications in an accounting/finance degree and CA qualification or equivalent5+ years of experience within accounting, finance, or auditExperience working with a government accounting function (highly desirable)Excellent technical accounting skills with experience applying standards to government projectsSkills in financial reporting, management accounting, or budgetingA dedicated work ethic and a hunger for development opportunitiesWell-developed relationship management skillsExcellent collaborative skills, precision thinking, and a dedicated work ethicStrong Excel skills, including working with macrosProven ability to analyze, summarize, and present large data setsExperience delivering finance or accounting advisory projects or internal improvementsExperience managing various stakeholders effectively, both externally and internallyExperience coaching and guiding team members in applying tools, guidance, and methodologiesFederal Government security clearance is desirable and required for the roleDue to client requirements, all candidates must undergo security clearance; only Australian citizens will be considered for this role.
