To put it simply, we help our clients make their finance functions more efficient and effective.Join our fast-paced and growing team to work with like-minded individuals who are passionate about offering Deloitte's latest thinking on the future of finance to the Corporate and Public Sector in relation to key accounting, reporting and finance matters.Enough about us, let's talk about you.We're looking for someone with:Qualifications in an accounting/finance degree and CA qualification or equivalent5+ years of experience within accounting, finance or auditExperience working with a government accounting function would be highly desirableExcellent technical accounting skills with experience in applying accounting standards to government projectsSkills in financial reporting, management accounting or budgetingA dedicated work ethic and a hunger for development opportunitiesWell-developed relationship management skillsExcellent collaborative skills, precision thinking and a dedicated work ethicStrong excel skills including working with macrosProven ability to analyse, summarise and present large quantum of dataExcellent skills delivering finance or accounting advisory projects or internal improvement activitiesWell-developed relationship management skillsStrong experience in managing variety of stakeholders effectively, both externally and internallyExperience in coaching and guiding other team members in applying tools, guidance and methodology in delivering projectsFederal Government security clearance is desirable and will be required as part of the roleDue to the client requirements, all candidates must undergo a security clearance and as such, only Australian citizens will be considered for this role.Why Deloitte?
