
Integrated Genetic Healthcare Support Officer

About the role
Coordinate administrative support to Genetic Health Queensland to enable the provision of effective and appropriate health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families.
About you
- Resolve day to day operational issues regarding administrative procedures and staff within the team and assist with the review of work practices to maintain high professional work standards while seeking ways for ongoing improvement.
- Effectively use communication skills and tools to maintain a motivated and effective team, while providing ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Foster teamwork and accountability through monitoring, evaluating, setting goals and proprieties, delegation, negotiation and team building.
- To maintain the integrity of the payroll systems by providing timely and correct data through rostering, movement forms and leave forms.
- Manage assigned information databases and systems, document management systems accurately, contribute to the development, implementation and review of unit specific policies and protocols on the management of systems as directed.
