We are looking for an Artistic Director for our ********* festivals who will build on this legacy by curating a contemporary, multi-arts festival in South Australia that showcases the finest international art, while engaging and inspiring audiences and fostering pride within our state.The Artistic Director will be the creative visionary and public face of Adelaide Festival, bringing a strong curatorial vision to the direction of our artistic program.
Reporting to the board, the Artistic Director will be responsible for ensuring our creative and financial sustainability, while always seeking opportunities for growth.Prior to submitting an application, please contact AEGEUS, the consultant assisting the Board, to obtain a link to the Information for Candidates site that has details of the Festival, the role and the application requirements.For 65 years we have been the nation's major cultural drawcard, attracting many thousands of visitors annually: all making a pilgrimage to experience the finest international and national artistic endeavours.
No other Australian festival has the capacity to present a program of works which can include epic international dance, opera, theatre and music.Adelaide Festival is internationally recognised as Australia's pre-eminent arts festival.
