Area Manager – Commercial Cleaning

Randstad have partnered with a Leading National Commercial and facilities company to recruit an Area Manager/Commercial Cleaning.The RoleIn this field-based Permanent role, an emphasis on people and relationships is vital.
Your hands-on approach will ensure the delivery of service excellence to your clients throughout Cairns Region.
This role will require frequent daily travel around Cairns.While managing the day-to-day operational needs of your team and client group, you will foster positive stakeholder relationships, exceed our client's expectations, and ensure that we add value to our client portfolio.
A sound understanding of commercial cleaning operations, relationship building, budgets and costs, service delivery and stakeholder management is key to success in this role.As the Area Manager, you will:Be the first point of contact for our clientLead the cleaning teamUndertake people management, including training and administration functionsEstablish and maintain strong client relationshipsLiaise with suppliers regarding ordersCoordinate periodic works and extra worksInvoicing for extra work and in-contract worksConduct routine site audits (cleaning inspections)Skills and ExperienceYou will have:Proven experience in a similar roleExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAn eye for detailAbility to build relationships and rapport quicklyStrong organisational and administration skillsExperience in the cleaning industry is essentialWhat you get:Play a valuable role in a highly supportive culture that celebrates success.The latest tools of the trade, laptop, iPhone and generous car allowance.A bonus incentive plan that recognises and rewards high performance.The OTE for this role is between $115K - $120K which consists of a base salary, superannuation, car allowance and uncapped bonuses.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
