The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best event venues in NSW.About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team at Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with management, and play a crucial part in maintaining the reliability and safety of our hotel and outlets.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and associated equipmentDiagnose and resolve issues with water, gas, and drainage systems promptly and effectivelyConduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative maintenance solutionsEnsure compliance with WHS guidelines, providing safety training and enforcing use of protective equipmentMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system modificationsMonitor contractors' work to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are metAssist the Manager in negotiating contracts covering scope of work, timelines, costs, and compliance requirementsAssess contractor performance upon project completion and provide feedback or resolution as neededStay updated on plumbing codes, industry best practices, and new technologiesAbout You:Qualified and licensed Plumber in New South Wales, AustraliaProven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairPipefitting and welding qualifications highly regardedExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsComprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standardsAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyEffective communication and collaboration skillsPolice check required for this roleFREE Onsite parking while on shiftInternal and external training opportunities, including online learningEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your familyReward and recognition programsUnlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
