**Disability Support Workers** provide assistance to a person with a disability with everyday tasks that a person without a disability would be doing for themselves and may include, and not be limited to, the following activities:
**PERSONAL CARE**:

- Manual Handling; Showering; Toileting; Grooming; Excercise, communication, personal development

**MEAL ASSISTANCE** - Meal preparation or assist clients in making their own meals.

**COMMUNITY ACCESS**:

- Recreational and social activities includes shopping and accompanying clients to doctor's appointment

**HOUSEKEEPING**:

- doing domestic responsibilities such as housekeeping and sanitation.

**ADMIN MEDICATION -** assisting clients on their medication.

Disability Support Workers will record case notes that detail progress against PCP goals following each shift.

**Qualifications**:

- **PREFERABLY residing within WOLLERT.**
**- PREFERABLY with flexible hours; can take morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts**
- With a Full Victorian Driver's License.
- Willing to do a long drive for a client. As most of his activities are more into community access where you need to drive a client in a long distance
- Patient, people-centered, good communicator and hardworking.

NDIS Screen check, Work with Children Check, Updated CPR&First Aid, Certificate III/IV in Individual Support and Disability or equivalent.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $30.33 - $36.50 per hour

Expected hours: 7 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
