ABOUT THE ROLE*
We are looking for a strong barista capable of working independently, 12 months to 18 months of barista experience in a senior style that could possibly work their way into a more supervisor role.

As a senior **Barista**, you will contribute to our goal of creating a positive customer experience by providing excellent customer service and amazing coffee.

In this role, you will be responsible for: *
- Consistently creating excellent customer experiences
- Making great coffee
- Managing the safety and hygiene of your work site and the food you are

handling
- Responding to customer queries, requests and concerns
- Ordering stock and supplies
- Opening and closing the outlet

This is a casual position with rosters between 10 and 15 hours per week, worked between 6am and 2pm Monday to Friday. The role will work at HMAS Albatross & HMAS Creswell on rostered shifts.

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes: *
- A minimum of 1 years' barista experience preferably in a high volume cafe
- Basic food preparation skills would be an advantage but not a must
- Reliability and ability to work with a small team as well as independently and remotely
- Must have a current drivers licence and be able to drive to venue on rostered shifts.
- Excellent working knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards
- Ability to operate POS terminals and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions efficiently and accurately
- Highly developed face to face customer service and communication skills
- A high standard of grooming and presentation as these are front of house roles
