**Our Journey**
The Breast Services team at Monash Health incorporates multiple services across the patient's journey including BreastScreen, Breast Surgery, Breast Care Clinical Nurse Consultants, and Breast Oncology teams. We provide a multidisciplinary approach for patients with varied and complex pathways of care, requiring detailed coordination in providing safe, high quality and timely care.
- We are seeking a highly motivated, and capable Data Manager who has a passion for working with data.
**A Day in the Life**
The Data Manager plays an integral role in coordinating collation of the data required for our Breast audit meetings, interrogation of data and provision of information to the Breast Services and Breast Oncology departments for business cases, research and ethics submissions.
**About the Role**:
- Co-ordination of the multi-disciplinary team meetings (MDT)
- Monthly and bi-annual audits for Breast Surgery
- Data collection for the Breast Surgery Quality Audit and submission to BreastSurgANZ
- Quality and Research activities
- Funding submissions
- Collation of financial data from MDT for Breast Services and Breast Oncology
- Collation and maintain orientation handbook for Breast Surgical JMS
- Special projects
**About You**:
- You have a passion for data, and excellent communication skills, with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
- Well organised, detail oriented, with strengths in organisation, and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
**What you need**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology and abbreviations
- Strong analytical skills in interpretation of data and the use of IT systems
- Comprehensive computer knowledge and proficiency in software programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IPM, SMR, Power BI,WebQI
