Reliability Specialist Job Summary
The organization is seeking a skilled Reliability Specialist to maximize equipment reliability and availability onsite.
This role involves condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, equipment evaluation, and fault mitigation to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives in producing high-quality lithium at optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing and managing the site's reliability-centered maintenance program for rotating and mechanical equipment.
Developing and optimizing condition monitoring strategies for asset integrity.
Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant.
Evaluating equipment performance, damage, and failure rates to inform decision-making.
Conducting root cause analysis and investigations into equipment failures.
Engineering solutions to address equipment malfunctions or degraded performance.
Collaborating with OEMs and external contractors on equipment upgrades and modifications.
Developing work instructions for corrective maintenance activities.
Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering.
Assisting in the development of Mechanical Engineers and Maintenance Technicians.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 10 years' professional experience in a similar role.
Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment within a processing environment.
Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
Understanding of condition monitoring techniques.
Skills in root cause analysis and equipment failure investigation.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
