Ipswich Orthodontics is a busy specialist orthodontist in Ipswich Queensland. We are currently seeking a full-time chairside orthodontic assistant to work alongside both our Principal Orthodontist and our Oral Health Therapists.
- 8am and you will finish at approximately 5.45pm.

Award wages apply, however negotiable depending on qualification and experience.
- The ability to work full-time, are you looking to establish a long-term career in dental assisting?

- Confident communication skills, with a friendly approachable and positive manner with patients, stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the schedule with ease.
- Enjoys working in an extremely fast paced environment, can multitask and does not stress under pressure.
- Enjoys cleaning and is passionate about infection control.
- Flexibility and availability to work hours that meet the orthodontists and patients demands.
- Process driven with excellent time management.
- A high standard of personal presentation
- Loves working in a fun team environment. Enjoys the thought of helping create the occasional Tik Tok and social media post to promote the business.
- Reliable and hard working
- Fantastic work ethic

**Key Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Preparing the surgery for the daily schedule, ensuring all materials and equipment are prepared and readily accessible.
- Ensuring the surgery cleanliness is maintained throughout the day and a full clean is performed at the end of each day.
- Chairside assisting
- Stock taking of equipment.
- Ensuring all infection control procedures are recorded when sterilizing instruments and cleaning the treatment rooms on every occasion.
- Maintenance of inventory and stock control
- Greeting patients with a happy, positive attitude and preparing them for the scheduled procedure
- Educating patients by giving educational treatment instructions
- Scanning patients, taking clinical photographs
- Willingness to work as a team player and do whatever it takes to make the practice run smoothly.
- Administrative duties including, taking phone calls and working in reception when required.

**Salary**: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
