We're seeking a Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment to lead complex projects that deliver safe, efficient, and compliant support to our mining division and valued customers.
Your Impact
As our Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of leading critical site-based projects—ensuring seamless shutdowns, major works, and strategic field service operations.
You'll manage resources, timelines, safety processes, and customer relationships with confidence and expertise.
You'll ensure projects are delivered efficiently and safely by coordinating teams, tracking progress, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
From implementing HSE processes to engaging with suppliers and stakeholders, your leadership will drive outcomes that align with both operational goals and customer expectations.
You bring a strong skillset in project planning and coordination, managing customer expectations, and producing clear technical reports.
Your ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and apply key safety, QA, and HSE principles ensures every project runs smoothly.
With solid computer literacy and the ability to manage change and resources effectively, you're equipped to lead in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project delivery across shutdowns and major works—supervising field teams and service technicians on-site.
Drive project performance—track schedules, manage budgets, and ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
Champion safety & compliance—implement HSE procedures aligned with Liebherr's Safety Management Plan.
Communicate with impact—coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to meet demands and exceed expectations.
Support continuous improvement—identify and action process improvements across service support.
Lead and develop your team—coach team members and provide on-the-job training to upskill future leaders.
Maintain exceptional standards—ensure clean, safe, and organized work environments at all times.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
A relevant trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Fitting).
Proven experience in leading teams within technical or service environments.
Strong customer relationship management experience.
A safety-first mindset with a deep understanding of risk and compliance management.
Nice-to-Haves:
Certificate IV in Project Management and or Diploma Project Management
Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
S123 Mining Supervisor certification.
In addition to your qualifications, you bring practical strengths in planning and coordinating complex projects, managing customer expectations, and preparing technical reports.
You're confident leading teams, fostering collaboration, and applying safety, HSE, and QA principles across all aspects of project delivery.
Your solid computer literacy, combined with strong change and resource management capabilities, makes you adaptable and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
You demonstrate strategic thinking by connecting the dots and making informed decisions.
You approach complexity with clarity, solve problems confidently, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
You know how to bring teams together to achieve shared goals and lead with purpose—developing others while continuously growing yourself.
