**Male NDIS Support Worker**

**Employment Type**: Casual (5 days, 2 hours/day - 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM + 1 Saturday, 6 hours)

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide individualized support aligned with participants' NDIS support plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community participation.
- Create a positive, empowering, and supportive environment for participants.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of support provided and participant progress.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and high-quality care.

**Qualifications**

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following:

- At least **6 months of experience** in a similar role (preferred).
- **Current First Aid and CPR Certificates**.
- **Current National Police Check**.
- **Working with Children Check**.
- **NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate**.
- **NDIS Worker Screening Clearance**.
- **Manual Handling Certificate**.
- **Infection Control Training Certificate**.
- **Evidence of the right to work in Australia** (e.g., Citizenship Certificate, Visa, Passport).
- **Recent photo** for ID purposes.
- **Scanned copy of passport** (Australian or Overseas).

**Skills and Attributes**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of empathy and understanding, especially for individuals with complex behavioral needs.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Employment Details**
- **Job Type**: Casual
- **Pay Rate**: $37.85 - $40.00 per hour
- **Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday**:Afternoon shift, 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM**:

- Saturday**:6-hour shift**
