**Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, tree pruning, and garden upkeep.
Undertake tasks such as fertilising, de-thatching, aerating, and top dressing.
Maintain playgrounds, sandpits, car parks, and external drains, including guttering and downpipes.
Repair fences, maintain brick paving, and handle incidental painting and graffiti removal.
Manage external rubbish removal and disposal.
Contribute to planned preventative maintenance measures and minor building works as applicable.
Provide material quotes for larger projects to support budget planning by the Facilities Manager.
Supervise specialist subcontractors on-site when required.
Maintain a positive attitude, prioritize tasks effectively, and be prepared for occasional travel to Regional NSW areas.
Proven experience in grounds maintenance with a strong ability to perform manual and physical tasks.
Thorough knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices and risk management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Demonstrated punctuality and a proactive, 'can do' attitude.
Proficiency with technology and flexibility in managing your own schedule.
**Essential Qualifications**:
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.
Valid Full Driver's License.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
Experience working in a childcare environment.
Qualifications or experience in various trades.
Arborist experience.
