We have a new opportunity available at our Opal Fibre Australia Rota Die site in Heidelberg, VIC for a Diesetter. This will be a Day Shift role.

You will be responsible for the production of dies for our corrugated fibre site converting machines. This includes the efficient setup and operation of die-cutting equipment to meet quality and production standards.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

- Efficient set up and changeover of dies on die-cutting equipment to meet production requirements
- Ensure proper alignment, tension, and set up of dies for accurate and precise cutting
- Complete basic calibration of Easy Benders (Nozzles Guide, Length, Radii)
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to die setup and machine calibration
- Conduct quality checks on die-cut samples to verify conformance to specifications
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality standards and minimise waste

Specifically, for this role, we expect you will have;
- A good working knowledge of Benders/Cutters both mechanically and software (preferred but not essential)
- Technical training or certification in die setting or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
- Familiarity with die-cutting equipment and related tools.
- Attention to detail and precision to ensure accurate and high-quality production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
