About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor / Die Setter to play a key role in setting up and running day to day operations in our injection moulding facility. This is a unique, hands on leadership role where you'll help lay the foundations for how we operate, from process setup to team culture.

You'll lead a small team on the factory floor while also performing efficient die changeovers, setting up machines, and maintaining quality, safety, and performance standards. As we grow and scale production, you'll be a core part of shaping our systems, routines, and standards for the long term.

This role is perfect for someone with technical capability, strong attention to detail, and a desire to be involved in the setup and success of a well run, high quality production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Operations Setup & Improvement

• Support the setup of production systems, work instructions, and operating routines
• Contribute to equipment commissioning, layout planning, and production readiness
• Provide input on tooling and process improvements during ramp up
• Work closely with management to help define and implement efficient workflows
• Embed a safety first, quality driven culture from day one

Production Supervision

• Oversee daily production activity and assign tasks across a small team of machine operators
• Monitor machine performance, operator output, and production timelines
• Provide hands on training, mentorship, and leadership to new team members
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are followed at all times
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and basic downtime tracking
• Act as the main point of contact for resolving floor level issues and escalating as needed

Die Setting & Machine Setup

• Perform safe and efficient mould (die) changeovers with minimal disruption to production
• Set up and dial in injection moulding machines (typically 50–300 ton range)
• Clean and inspect moulds pre and post run; carry out minor maintenance when needed
• Troubleshoot machine or processing issues on the fly
• Document all setups and changeovers to ensure consistency and repeatability

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years' experience in injection moulding operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead hand role
• Strong practical knowledge of die setting and machine setup for injection moulding
• Confidence reading and interpreting technical drawings and setup instructions
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and influence others on the floor
• Mechanically minded with a hands on, proactive approach to troubleshooting
• Forklift or overhead crane licence (preferred)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or process optimisation is an advantage
• Excitement about helping build and shape operations from the ground up
