Public Areas Supervisor

**WHO WE NEED**

Challenger is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and results driven part time Public Areas Supervisor to attend to the overnight supervision of the public area cleaning operations at a 4-5 star hotel. In this hands-on role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and that of your team, delivering our award winning exceptional standards and ensuring the hotel presents to a high quality for the enjoyment of visitors and guests.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Assist with the overnight supervision of the public areas team to ensure it is managed efficiently according to Challenger and client quality standards, policies and procedures.
- Be hands on with required duties, co-ordinating work and setting a positive example of leadership and responsibility for your team.
- Train and oversee team members, ensuring they maintain a professional manner and are up to date with hotel events and the requirements of the hotel.
- Manage and maintain a clean and tidy working environment for the hotel public areas, ensuring all public area attendants are doing the same.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory or team leader role, within a 4-5 star hotel or serviced apartment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Solid knowledge of effective public area cleaning methods and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Available to work across a 7-day overnight roster.
