What you will be doing
Reporting through to the Supervisor, some of your duties will include:
Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Complete daily site crane inspections prior to start-up and record all findings.
Follow hand signals, radio communication, or written instructions to coordinate with riggers and site supervisors.
Observe all rigging techniques prior to performing any lift to ensure the lifting is rigged correctly and has the capacity to perform the lift safely.
Assess the weight of all loads and ensure they are within crane capacity.
Loading and unloading trucks.
General pick and carry activities supporting larger cranes and major installations across the site.
Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Work on a 3/1 roster on a permanent contract with Perth point of hire and caravan motel style accommodation (as part of benefits).
What is required? (Tickets & Licenses)
Experience working within the mining, construction and resources industry.
HRWL – CN.
Construction White Card.
Unlimited Australian working rights.
National Police clearance (12 months).
Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and a Drug / Alcohol Screen.
