Your role
Responsibilities
Conducting economic and industry analysis for client and industry insights.
Supporting coverage bankers on credit and risk-related issues, including preparing transaction support memos for corporate client transactions.
Liaising with business lines such as Infrastructure, Asset Backed Products, Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition Finance, Energy, Mining, and Real Estate to expand business opportunities.
Preparing high-quality pitch books and marketing materials for internal and external presentations.
Managing client data, updating internal databases, coordinating revenue tracking, and supporting budget forecasting.
Assisting with the KYC process and documentation for onboarding new and existing clients.
Supporting roadshow event management, preparing briefing notes for C-suite client meetings, and recording meeting minutes.
Assisting with deal flows, including developing and reviewing deal checklists and coordinating the transaction approval process end-to-end.
Collaborating with internal staff from business divisions and support functions locally, regionally, and globally, as well as with external clients and advisors.
About you
Qualifications
Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering.
Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
Strong computer literacy skills.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and right to work checks.
