Support corporate client coverage and strategic initiatives at Societe Generale, contributing to a dynamic, growth-focused team.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Conducting economic and industry analysis for client and industry insights.
  • Supporting coverage bankers on credit and risk-related issues, including preparing transaction support memos for corporate client transactions.
  • Liaising with business lines such as Infrastructure, Asset Backed Products, Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition Finance, Energy, Mining, and Real Estate to expand business opportunities.
  • Preparing high-quality pitch books and marketing materials for internal and external presentations.
  • Managing client data, updating internal databases, coordinating revenue tracking, and supporting budget forecasting.
  • Assisting with the KYC process and documentation for onboarding new and existing clients.
  • Supporting roadshow event management, preparing briefing notes for C-suite client meetings, and recording meeting minutes.
  • Assisting with deal flows, including developing and reviewing deal checklists and coordinating the transaction approval process end-to-end.
  • Collaborating with internal staff from business divisions and support functions locally, regionally, and globally, as well as with external clients and advisors.
About you

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and right to work checks.
