**How will I help?**

Reporting to the Head of CTB Products, you will be responsible for defining and leading the delivery of the Simplification and Transformation roadmap across consumer and business customers. You will contribute your specialised expertise towards the strateg ic design and execution pathways for the product simplification and transformation agenda in close collaboration with our transformation and technology partners.

You will also be responsible for:

- Defining and maintaining the strategic product target state across all Westpac Group banking brands
- Driving execution with transformation / technology partners toward the target state by removing products from sale, large scale customer migration to target state products and decommissioning non-target state products and supporting platforms
- Defining and securing buy-in for product transformation agenda by achieving key stakeholder alignment to secure prioritisation and funding
- Ensuring that change is delivered within risk appetite and ensuring an uplift of the broader risk profile, whilst improving process performance and adherence to product and value chain governance standards
- Gathering, assessing, and maintaining a backlog of product, process, and system improvement opportunities for priority at QBR/ Value Stream Governance Forum

**What do I need?**
- You will be a self-starter, able to work self sufficiently
- Relevant knowledge of product management, preferably gained through employment of 10+ years within banking
- Leadership e xperience in product simplification and transformation
- Capability to facilitate and foster stakeholder relationships
- Power to exercise governance and best practise
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- Desire to be constantly challenged and develop new knowledge
- Previous education in a financial-related degree

Essential
- Leadership in product management and driving complex execution
- Change leadership across a broad set of stakeholders
- Advanced (written & verbal) presentation and communication skills
- Advanced Stakeholder management
