The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced leader to join our Senior Management Team asNational Head of Biodiversity.
This pivotal role will shape CO2's biodiversity and conservation strategy while leading a national team of specialists to deliver major ecological projects and drive industry innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement CO2's national biodiversity strategy in line with environmental policy, international frameworks, and client goals.
Build cross-functional collaborations across CO2's service offerings.
Influence biodiversity, conservation, and environmental accounting standards across regulatory, scientific, and industry sectors.
Provide technical expertise on complex ecological matters, including large infrastructure and ecological planting projects.
Lead and mentor a high-performing national team of biodiversity specialists.
Drive innovation, growth, and thought leadership in biodiversity services.
Lead proposals, client presentations, and stakeholder consultations for major biodiversity projects.
About You
Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
10+ years' consulting experience, with strong knowledge of resource and utilisation management.
Proven track record in managing large-scale ecological assessments and navigating environmental legislation.
Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication excellence.
