- About the roleAs the Reinsurance Actuarial Analyst, you will analyse and perform intermediate to complex reinsurance transactions and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of the reinsurance agreements and department standards.

As an integral member of the team, you will identify, calculate, record, report and settle premium and loss reinsurance in relation to contract terms and department standards. You will reconcile complex reinsurance related activities, identify issues, coordinate resolutions, and take corrective actions as required. Keeping your finger on the pulse in terms of reviewing trends, anomalies, and reconciliation to key data sources is also a key part of this role.
- Important to your success- You will hold an actuarial degree and be making progress with your actuarial exams.
- Understanding of the life insurance market and reinsurance processes.
- Extensive programming experience with SQL, R or Python, preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical issues.
