About the role
The Deli Manager position at Klose's Foodland in Lobethal offers an exciting opportunity for someone who loves retail and has a passion for food.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee all aspects of the deli department, including ordering, receiving, storing, and displaying fresh products.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain strict hygiene standards.
Train, develop, and supervise the deli team, delegating tasks and providing guidance to enhance their performance.
Analyse sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimise inventory and product offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service, offering product recommendations and catering to special requests.
Collaborate with the store management team to implement marketing initiatives and merchandising strategies.
What we're looking for
Experience as a deli manager with leading a team and driving operational excellence.
Comprehensive knowledge of food processing, handling, and storage procedures, as well as food safety regulations
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers.
Excellent communication and people skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Proficiency in inventory management, data analysis, and decision-making to optimise business performance.
A passion for all things food and have a commitment to delivering high-quality products and an exceptional customer experience.
