We want you to feel proud of the work you do and supported to be yourself at work.About the RoleWe're looking for Disability Support Workers and Mental Health Support Workers with experience supporting people living with psychosocial disabilities, (bonus if you have experience supporting individuals with Schizophrenia and BPD), who can provide consistent and person-centred support.You'll support clients who feel most comfortable with clear boundaries, structured routines, and clear communication.
You'll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding.
A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you'll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.This role is best suited to someone with:A compassionate yet firm approach to supportA proactive mindset and the ability to gently motivate and prompt activityA commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred supportNo two days are the same
