**About this role**
We are looking for people with a head full of ideas, incredible creative energy and a really good imagination to join our dynamic Infrastructure Civil Technician Team. You will help deliver Civil Infrastructure projects of all shapes and sizes across ACT as well as Australasia, alongside some of the worlds most talented Engineers and Designers.

**What will I do?**
- Undertake engineering/design/drafting tasks in order to meet client requirements for the documentation of various civil infrastructure design projects
- Follow Design Quality procedures to produce design and drawing products that comply with the requirements of the Project and Arup Standards
- Provide progress information to supervisors and colleagues to allow accurate reporting of progress
- Use a combination of standard and modified design and drafting methods/techniques to solve problems including the use of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD), modelling and analysis software
- Grow and build your skills with ongoing training through learning on projects and formal courses and the Assistant Technician Progression Framework

**What will I bring?**
- Currently completing / completed a tertiary qualification in Engineering Drafting at Tafe
- Interest and desire to grow your skills in civil, highway and road design standards and principles, drawing and presentation skills, including 3D road modelling
- Demonstrated ability using AutoCAD with 12D experience being highly valued
- Possess well developed communication skills
- Are motivated and driven to be involved, responsible and accountable for tasks as delegated
- A commitment to enabling positive, respectful, and inclusive team environments. Including working with people of all levels, both within the team and externally
