The Operations team partners closely with ResMed's five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.
- We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team in a role that leads and supports a team of Production Team Leaders on developing frontline talent to promote commitment and engagement to effective OH&S, Quality and Production systems.

- The Sydney Manufacturing Operations Team partners with Engineering and Product Development teams to manufacture and deliver devices.
- We identify, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and technologies into production to produce high quality products to meet current and future volume, cost, and project requirements at the highest quality.
- Let's talk about the role
- Lead a team of Production Team Leaders over multiple shifts through providing effective operational management and talent development.
- Partner with different Team Leaders to achieve required production targets in line with demand, quality, and specification parameters.
- Promote and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the team by partnering with relevant support teams (e.g., People, Finance, Engineering) to achieve globally competitive manufacturing principles and practices.
- Provide people management guidance to Team Leaders and a point of escalation for any performance management issues within their teams.
- Engage and inspire the teams to achieve cost saving proposals within their team and via the PFT groups.
- Work with Production Team Leaders to appropriately performance manage product assembly for all assigned shifts
- Guide and facilitate the Production Team Leaders to oversee the management of personnel issues for all shifts

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empower and motivate team members.
- Experience in managing a multilevel team in the manufacturing industry.
- Good working knowledge of the products for each line or proven technical leadership.
- Strong computer skills, specifically MS Excel and MS Word, Oracle and Objective.
- Significant experience of quality, OH&S and GMP processes.
- Proven experience within an innovative, fast-paced, and high-volume manufacturing team (3+ years).
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Engineering or Business Management
