Lead Exciting Electrical Communications Projects – Join Us as a Supervisor
The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards, and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a telecommunications project team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legislative requirements.
Supervise crew members, subcontractors, and workplace participants, fostering a productive and respectful work environment.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, conducting toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts.
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and goods (up to agreed value), ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, addressing any issues and maintaining strong relationships.
Monitor project progress, manage labour forecasting, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
Maintain a high standard of quality control, ensuring all work meets specifications and legislative requirements.
Complete daily production records, timekeeping, and reporting as required by the Project Manager.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Electrical License (preferred) and Telecommunications Accreditation (ASIAL telecommunications cabling license).
Cert III in Telecommunications (preferred).
Proven experience managing telecommunications projects, including staff supervision, client liaising, and subcontractor coordination.
Strong knowledge of NSW Health ICT Cabling Standards and construction industry practices.
Fluke certification and experience with vendor-based telecommunications products.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to resolve conflicts and lead teams effectively.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach to project management.
