As Endava grows its operations here in Australia, we are looking for an experienced Principal Architect with a focus on the Media & Retail sector who can contribute to delivering cutting-edge and contemporary solutions to clients.

This role is perfect for a highly experienced Solution Architect who sees themselves as the glue between the customer, sales, and delivery teams. You're that special someone who likes to get involved early with a prospect and can understand the technical and business requirements, proposes and "sells" the right solution, maps out the product into a solution or specific use case, builds a proof of concept, and helps convert the prospect into a customer.

**Job Description**:
**You'll be involved with prospects and customers to**:

- Design and architect e-commerce solutions for seamless online shopping experiences, including product catalogs, secure payment processing, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
- Develop robust content management systems (CMS) for managing digital content, supporting content authoring, versioning, and multi-channel distribution.
- Utilize data analytics and machine learning to design personalized experiences, leveraging recommendation algorithms for product recommendations and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Create solutions for multi-channel customer engagement, ensuring consistent branding and effective communication across websites, mobile apps, social media, and customer support systems.
- Optimize inventory management and supply chain processes, integrating with suppliers and logistics partners for improved efficiency and visibility.
- Design and integrate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling payment processing, loyalty programs, inventory updates, and sales analytics for a seamless in-store experience.
- Develop advertising and monetization solutions, supporting targeted advertising, ad campaign management, and analytics to optimize revenue generation.
- Design data analytics and business intelligence solutions to analyze customer behaviour, sales trends, and campaign performance, driving data-driven strategies and improved outcomes.
- Maybe even leverage emerging technologies like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to enhance customer experiences, such as virtual try-on and immersive product demos.
- Expertly integrate media or retail systems with third-party platforms, ensuring data synchronization, security, and interoperability.
- Create engaging and seamless mobile solutions, enabling mobile commerce capabilities, offline access to content/products, and integration with location services and push notifications.

This is a client facing role and there are going to be times where you may be required to travel to a client location, sometimes at short notice. Whilst there is not strict mandate on the number of hours and days to be in the office or onsite, client demands will always dictate this. If you are seeking a 100% remote role, then this most likely isn't the role for you.

- Engage with senior stakeholders at early stage prospects to understand their challenges and needs.
- Build relationships with stakeholders of varying types both internally and externally.
- Work with a team to deliver technical solutions, policies, and standards.
- Contributing to RFI, RFP and other documentation.
- Define the migration path from current mode of operation to the future mode.
- Being responsible for the technical integrity of solution designs.
- Ensuring that all changes are managed effectively and contributing to formal reviews and evaluations when projects and programmes end.
- Advising on appropriate quality standards and quality control processes relating to solutions, processes, and documentation.
- Contributing to the growth and development of the team, enabling them to be the best they can be.
