Your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients, including aged and high-needs clients, with activities of daily living and providing support services in their homes such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite, and Personal Care.
We aim to deliver high-quality care that promotes clients' independence while living at home.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote client choice, positive routines, and meaningful activities in accordance with Calvary Home Care's Service Delivery Model.Work shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering.Drive client and company vehicles as required.Support clients proactively to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community.Report changes in clients' health, care plans, or if additional services are needed.Review communications via email, Support Worker Connect, and other methods to stay updated on policies, procedures, and activities.Ensure your own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.Protect client rights and confidentiality, maintaining dignity and privacy during care.Minimum RequirementsCompletion of a minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent.Current full driver's license.Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.Reliable motor vehicle with valid registration and comprehensive third-party insurance.Smart mobile device.Willingness to obtain NDIS Clearance if not already held.Police Clearance within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain one.Access to the internet and experience with computers and applications.A genuine desire to serve the community and work in a mission-driven organization.Why work for Calvary?
