At OSHC, children have the opportunity to participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance and so much more.We are currently recruiting for an OSHC Educator on a casual basis to join our YMCA Stanthorpe Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.About the serviceYMCA Stanthorpe Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located in the Stanthorpe State School licensed for 30 children per day.The service has exclusive space room and outdoor area that allows expansive learning programs and activities.In conjunction with the school's values and vision, we deliver a wholistic education that is engaging, stimulating and encouraging, reflective of our service philosophy focusing on the community and belonging.We believe in the importance of planned and spontaneous multi-age play in middle childhood.
We offer a range of experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.About the roleAs an OSHC Educator you are responsible for the care of children before school, after school and during school holiday periods.
You'll assist in running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children, such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting and musical activities.What will my time look like?

You are currently studying or completed a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or similarYou have a fantastic sense of fun and a tremendous imaginationYou hold or be willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certificationYou hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain oneWhat's in it for you?
