Lead in the development and execution of community engagement and stakeholder relationship strategies in a new program. This program supports members of the community to engage with the Aged Care System including key communities like CALD, LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and people who are likely to disengage with Aged Care due to past trauma. This will likely include people who have been homeless, experienced DV, or have ongoing mental health or AOD concerns.
- Full-time position

- The office is based in Chatswood with geographical scopes across Northern and Western Sydney.

**_The Role:_**

Work for a reputable NFP and lead community engagement for the Care Finders Program.
- Develop, monitor, and review community engagement strategies that engage with key target communities who are likely to disengage with Aged Care due to past trauma.
- Attend events and meetings like interagencies to engage with services and community groups.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure referral pathways are strong.
- Liaise with marketing teams to ensure effective marketing and engagement materials are available for the team.
- Support each Case Managers to have their own tailored community engagement activities, aligned with any particular communities or special groups they may be targeting.
- Support a part caseload of people to engage with the aged care system, with key target communities such as CALD, LGBTQIA+, and people who are likely to disengage with Aged Care due to past trauma. This will likely include people who have been homeless, experienced DV, or have ongoing mental health or AOD concerns.

**_About yourself:_**
- You have experience in assertive outreach and stakeholder engagement and/or a relationship-based role where you generated referrals and created referral pathways to programs.
- You have a background in and a passion for working with one or more of the key target communities or groups; CALD, LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, homelessness, victims of DV, and AOD.
- You have experience in case management and relevant qualifications.
- You are knowledgeable of the aged care space.
- You have leadership or senior experience with mentoring a team.

**_Desirable but not required:_**
- You are bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, Nepalese, Spanish, or Arabic.
- You identify as First Nations.

**_Requirements for the role:_**
- Double vaccinated against COVID-19 OR valid medical exemption
- Able to conduct Police Check
