**Position Information**:
Bardia Public School is a dynamic school situated in a growth area of South West Sydney. The school has an enrolment of approximately 1000 students and is located within a new residential area (walking distance to Edmondson Park train station). The school has a Support Unit for students with additional needs. There are two Autism and two Autism IO classes. 72% of our students have a language background other than English and 3% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Our highly collaborative and dedicated staff are are committed to the learning and growth of our school community through a school culture that values achievement, belonging and care. We embed collaborative practice pedagogies in flexible, open and agile learning environments. We take a team approach in embedding evidence informed practices and personalised learning so that our students achieve positive literacy and numeracy outcomes.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach infants and primary (K-6) with demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, differentiated programs to improve student outcomes using evidence-based and data informed practices.
- Evidence of innovative practice in embedding technology into classroom practice with the capacity to share this practice with colleagues.
- Highly developed communication, organisation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider school community, and contribute positively to the whole school culture.
- Willingness and capacity to enrich student learning opportunities by contributing to a range of whole school activities such as dance, music and sport.
