The role of Senior Data Analyst is pivotal in the Financial Crime Analytics team, where we face increasingly complex business questions. Our perpetrators of fraud, scams, and AML/CTF are creating ever-evolving ways to exploit our business processes.
This challenge presents an opportunity for you to thrive on solving problems with a broad range of analytical tools and data, balancing efficiency and compliance. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with Financial Crime teams (Operations & Compliance) to convert business questions into analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Extensive experience using relational databases and analytic tools (SQL, Python, or equivalent) to conduct analysis on data sets.
Proven experience in analytic consulting and engagement with non-technical teams, with a clear ability to communicate complex issues.
Experience of managing data quality issues to completion, including identifying, measuring and implementing analytics solutions.
A natural curiosity about data, intuitive mindset, and ability to spot trends/quality issues/anomalies in new data sources and identify ways to work around these issues.
