Accounts Payable Officer

**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable officer role will be working in a wide stock team and undertake reconciliations of supplier accounts in order to organize relevant, on time payments. The role also includes all day to day accounts payable transactions, liaising with suppliers and the internal teams to ensure all transactions are processed at the correct price and quantity.
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure all payables are processed correctly on time and in accordance with payment terms and comply with Winning policies
- Provide prompt and courteous responses to vendor enquiries
- Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proof of receipts
- Ensure all vendor settlement discounts, rebates and credits are taken up
- Liaising with internal PRM/Buying team to ensure correct price and details are shown on purchase orders
- Liaise with internal warehouse teams to ensure stock are booked in correctly
- Liaise with internal central admin team on credit claims
- Liaise with rebate team to ensure correct rebate are taken up
- Liaise with vendors to resolve in a timely manner of any enquiries or disputes
- Research supplier requests for payment, liaise with relevant departments to resolve before making payment
- Maintain accurate vendor details and account status
- Providing support with other ad hoc tasks when required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 12 month Accounts Payables experience in a similar role.
- Ability to to work with strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player and willing to assist team to achieve a timely and accurate result.
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of all facets of day to day business and the needs of internal and external customers.
- IT literate with Navision ERP experience an advantage.
- Minimum of 12 month Accounts Payables experience in a similar role.
