**About the role**
The Inventory Manager position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer at Tritium PTY Ltd and is based at Murarrie, QLD or Lebanon, Tennessee.
The purpose of this role is to be accountable for the consolidation of our global stock to enable a focus on inventory for current usage only and to dispose of stock not required for current production needs.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Oversee current production raw materials to ensure parts available 100% time to match schedule.
- Identify any potential obsolescence on these parts and mitigating with alternates prior.
- Develop plans to sell/scrap/ repurpose parts that are not current in either category.
- Assist with Inventory Accuracy Procedures and Processes.
- Modify processes and procedures for shipping, receiving, transport, and inventory control to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Document and analyze all materials quality, movement, and use.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and turnover to allow production.
- Ensure that inventory is available and distributed across the organization to meet performance goals.
**About you**
- Previous experience (minimum 10 years) in a similar Material/ Production planning & Production Master Scheduling role.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems that may cover - NetSuite, SAP, ORACLE etc.
- Previous production/materials planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of S&OP, Demand Management & Forecasting and Supply Plans.
- Experience in fine tuning and configuring MRP/ DRP systems set up
- Experienced in maintaining or improving customer service whilst optimising inventory levels & stock availability
- Good understanding of inventory management concepts & processes.
- Excellent communication, work collaboratively, build relationships, time management and organisational skills
- Process and people focused.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem solver.
- APICS certification a big plus
