**About the Pool**

Doveton Pool in the Park is an important community facility constructed in 1968, managed by the YMCA Victoria in partnership with the City of Casey. Open the months of December to the end of March, Doveton offers an outdoor pool facility hosting a 50 metre pool, Program pool, Toddler pool, Splash Park and giant water slide. In February the facility is used by many schools from the surrounds for school swimming carnivals.

**About you**
- Ability to make decisions while under pressure
- Ability to stay alert and vigilant in a repetitive work environment
- Ability to multitask
- Providing excellent customer service for all members and guests
- Experience in the Aquatics and Leisure industry will be highly regarded
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Willingness to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children Check

**About the roles**

With casual roles available across all YMCA Victoria outdoor pools over the summer period, you'll help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors. You'll be patient, focused and friendly to keep pool-users informed and safe.

Duty Managers (casual rates starting at $35.60 per hour):
You will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift. For this role you will require a Pool Lifeguard qualification (funding may be available to help you obtain this qualification) as well as current First Aid and CPR certificates. In keeping with current Victorian health directions it is a requirement that you are fully vaccinated for this role.

Pool Lifeguards (casual rates starting at $29.44 per hour):
In this role you will supervise a large aquatic space while pro-actively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area. For this role you will require a Pool Lifeguard qualification (funding may be available to help you obtain this qualification) as well as current First Aid and CPR certificates. In keeping with current Victorian health directions it is a requirement that you are fully vaccinated for this role.

Café Attendants (casual rate of $27.51 per hour):
You will be responsible for food and beverage preparation and service. This will include cash handling, food handling, cleaning and adhering to occupational health and safety within the café and catering for events. For this role you will need the Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety certificate as well as current First Aid and CPR certificates.
