The Job
The Frontend Platform Manager is responsible for leading the team that owns the design system, component library, build tooling, and platform capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning the frontend platform: Lead the technical strategy, development, and maintenance of core client infrastructure.
Driving developer productivity: Build tooling and abstractions that improve the day-to-day experience of frontend engineers.
Unifying cross-platform experiences: Collaborate with design and product to ensure consistent, performant experiences across desktop, mobile, and web clients.
Fostering technical excellence: Champion best practices in frontend architecture, testing, performance, and accessibility across the organization.
Supporting teams through change: Guide the organization through architectural migrations or upgrades.
Leading and developing the team: Hire, mentor, and support engineers on the Client Platform team.
Requirements
Strong leadership and technical skills
Experience with frontend architecture and engineering
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of best practices in accessibility, performance, and testing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
